DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (D) Upon arrival at NoiBai International airport, meet by our driver and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then you can free and easy for walking around to explore Hanoi. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi. DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D) SHARING BUS AND BOAT After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Hanoi by shuttle bus and arrive at the jetty around noon. The staff will welcome you on board with a refreshing drink followed by a cruise briefing. After lunch, cruise through the magnificent bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations and the crystal clear water. DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/D) Start the day with coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. DAY 2: HOCHIMINH CITY – CUCHI TUNNEL (B/L) GROUP TOUR Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeingthe beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. Boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Accommodation at hotel. DAY 6: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP (B/L) (By coach) After breakfast, you will be transferred to Siem Reap overland. En route, we will stop and have a quick visit to the spider market. Then continue to Siem Reap. Afternoon, visit to Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive – floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters.
