DAY 1: HOCHIMINH ARRIVAL (D)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport, meet by our driver and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then you can free and easy for walking around to explore Hochiminh.

DAY 2: HOCHIMINH CITY – CUCHI TUNNELS (B/L) GROUP TOUR

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeingthe beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

DAY 3: MEKONG – MYTHO (B/L) GROUP TOUR

Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meetthe local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh

DAY 4: HOCHIMINH – HANOI (B) FLIGHT EXCLUDE

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon your arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel for some rest. The rest day is yours to walk around on your own or go back to hotel for relaxing.

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D) SHARING BUS AND BOAT

After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Hanoi by shuttle bus and arrive at the jetty around noon. The staff will welcome you on board with a refreshing drink followed by a cruise briefing. After lunch, cruise through the magnificent bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations and the crystal clear water. Later explore some of the small islets and relax on a white sandy beach before returning to the junk before dinner. Overnight on board.

DAY 6: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)

Start the day with coffee, tea, and breakfast in the dining room. For those interested, it will be followed by a 30-minute instruction in tai chi on the sundeck. Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and sail to some of Halong Bay’s more untouched locales (exact locations depend on tide conditions). Enjoy time kayaking or swimming before a multi-course lunch is served at mid-day. After lunch, return to the harbor and drive back to Hanoi.

DAY 7: HANOI – SIEMREAP (B) FLIGHT EXCLUDE

Breakfast at hotel then free until your transfer to the airport with driver only for your departure flight to Siemreap.

DAY 8: SIEMREAP – ANGKOR WAT (B/L)

After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Prohm (the Jungle temple). After lunch, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, build at the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Wat: The “7th Wonders’ of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat (visit to Night & Pub Street) Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 9: SIEMREAP – PHNOMPENH (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel – visit to Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive – floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. After lunch, transfer overland to Phnom Penh. En route, we will stop for a quick visit at the spider market.  Once arrival, install to the hotel check in. Accommodation at hotel.

Note: From 2 – 10pax, we will use the bus ticket to transfer from REP-PNP and no visit to the spider market. From 11 pax up, we will arrange private coach with guide to transfer fro REP – PNP.

DAY 10: PHMOM PENH (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel – visit to Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh. Afternoon, Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument.
